The Accra Academy Old Boys' Association

An individual who has received an education at the Accra Academy is commonly referred to as a "Bleoobi." The Accra Academy Old Boys' Association has established specific criteria for individuals seeking to join its membership, as outlined in Article 4 of its constitution:

Membership in the association is generally extended to all former students who have attended the Accra Academy since its establishment on July 20, 1931.

Eligibility for membership is granted to former students of the Accra Academy who have completed a minimum of one year of attendance at the school.

It is noteworthy that Mrs. Beatrice Abla Lokko, the inaugural headmistress of the academy, although not enrolled as a student at the institution, was a fully paid-up member of the association.
